Position Title: Compliance Associate

External Description:

The Compliance Associate is responsible to ensure timeliness, correctness, and completeness of a Candidate’s file including - onboarding, contract updates, and ends.  They will also provide reporting and analysis.  Compliance Associate is responsible for compliance awareness, control consciousness through our processes and monitoring and navigating the company towards higher quality.

 

The Compliance Associate will be directly responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of the Compliance team and the teams that report to the Director, Finance & Compliance.  The Compliance Associate reports to the Team Lead, Compliance.

 

Objectives

 

  • 100% contract and labor law compliancy on candidate screening/intake
  • 100% contract compliancy for generic and specific client requirements
  • Increase risk and compliance awareness

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Review Candidate files/documents in a timely manner to ensure they are correct plus complete and that all Legislative, Client, and Randstad requirements are met.
  • Where required prepare manual contracts, updates, or other required documents.
  • Provide reporting and analysis where required.
  • Daily intervention to escalate non-compliance issues, reporting & following up on remedies
  • Process and system improvement to prevent non-compliancy
  • Execution of special assignments as required; including backup to the teams that report to the Director, Finance & Compliance (RSR Admin Services, Compliance Third Party, and Backcheck)
  • Advise manager on process and system improvements
  • Pro-actively contributing towards risk and compliance awareness and control consciousness

 

 

Education, Skills & Experience

 

  • High school diploma required; additional certification or college diploma in related field preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in similar or related role
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent, verbally & written, in both official languages (French/English) an asset
