Position Title: Staffing Consultant
External Description:
The Staffing Consultant’s primary focus is to sell Randstad staffing and HR solutions to prospective clients and to attract and screen the top professional talent to meet the needs of our Randstad clients. Working with a unit partner, you must effectively manage the profitability of your business.
The responsibilities are divided into the following 3 facets:
Business Development:
- Maintain an adapted client database in a specific, local territory
- Develop and grow your database through building client relationships
- Prospect new clients through telephone contact (cold call) and scheduled personalized visits
- Accountable for achieving and exceeding financial targets in order to grow your business
- Provide ongoing communication to determine clients and prospective clients hiring needs
- Implement strategies in line with our business approach and best practices to ensure excellent execution
Recruitment Service:
- Responsible for the complete recruitment cycle from posting positions to screening resumes to face-to-face interviews
- Assess the right candidates to fill the open positions within a pre-determined timeframe for either temporary (contract) or permanent external roles
- Develop and implement new recruitment strategies and coordinate additional recruitment activities such as career days and job fairs
Client & Candidate Service (small, medium and large businesses)
- Able to put into play one’s “problem solving” and customer service abilities
- Present your top candidates to each client with whom you have an open position, keeping in mind their needs and requirements
- Find the right fit between the candidate and the company, which would result in successfully filling the client’s position
- On a weekly basis, review the temporary (contract) workers’ timesheets and make sure their pay is accurate and on time
- Maintain the business relationship/partnership with the client/company and candidate
Education & Experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales and business development
- 1-2 years’ experience in recruitment
- College Diploma completed
- Hold a track record of demonstrated sales targets and recruiting success
- Ability to build long-term and trusting business relationships with your team
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Team oriented
- Must be internet savvy and fully conversant in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must possess a vehicle
