We're searching for a motivated Staffing Consultant (Sales and Recruitment) who's ready to tackle an exciting new chapter in their career.

As a part of our staffing team, you'll interface with both prospects, clients, and candidates for our Industrial Staffing division. To be successful, you'll need to be results-driven and able to deftly balance competing demands.

Responsibilities
A day in the life of a Randstad Staffing Consultant...

From the very start, you’ll need to create your qualified book of business by utilizing existing relationships, prospecting new businesses, driving the territory and knocking on doors, etc. You’ll need to have drive, tenacity, and grit in this role! Prospecting businesses, building relationships, negotiating, and signing agreements is what this role is all about on the sales side!

Once the new clients are signed, you will be posting job ads on all the major websites through our internal, intuitive software. You will then start the screening process through our massive candidate pool of qualified applicants, book phone screens, virtual or in-person interviews in the branch, and present qualified applicants to the clients. You will be responsible for ongoing relationships with clients and candidates.

One of the great things about working at Randstad is that no two days are exactly the same. Throughout your day, you'll tackle varied tasks dependent on what clients need that day. You will:

- Build and reinforce client relationships through asking discovery questions
- Prospect and meet with potential clients to assess the business potential
- Learn about clients' needs and ensure they're met through our solutions
- Hone your people skills and industry expertise
- Skillfully interview new talent and touch base with the existing talent to ensure you are meeting or exceeding their expectations
- Manage all administrative tasks in a timely manner


Qualifications
Sales and Recruitment at Randstad aren't for the faint of heart. To be successful and make the most of this role, you'll need to be passionate, ambitious, result-oriented, high-energy, focused, adaptable, tenacious, a good listener, and undaunted by hard work! Sound easy? You'll fit right in.

Here's what we look for in more detail:

- Post-secondary degree in business, marketing, science, arts, or a related field is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills and a natural sales ability
- 3 years plus experience in a sales-driven role (highly preferred but not mandatory)
- Great English communication, both verbally and in writing
- People-person with interpersonal skills
- Metrics-driven and enjoy the pressures of meeting quotas and driving results
- More than a little competitive (in a good way!)
- Naturally driven and thrive with autonomy
- Organized and sound time management
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Feel comfortable providing ongoing advice and recommendations based on market trends
- You don't mind letting loose a little bit once your quotas are met!
