Position Title: BI Developer

The Randstad Business Intelligence (B.I.) Montreal team is growing! We are looking for a B.I. Developer to develop and do the maintenance of the current reports for the business and our Corporate team.

A day in the life of a B.I. Developer:
- Partnering with the business intelligence (B.I) team, you will work on various report development and
maintenance projects - Develop, implement and maintain data pipelines according to the needs of the BI process
- Develop, implement and maintain reports according to business requirements
- Execute ad-hoc requests that respond to specific business needs
- Develop by documenting using good naming practices and testing as well as forecasting
production support - Handle the support of the reports with end-users
Experience requested:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL (ideally with SQL Server).
- Minimum 2 years of experience with ETL tools (ideally SSIS)
- Minimum 1 year of experience with reporting platforms (ideally Power BI)
- Have good database knowledge like using stored procedures, functions, indexes and queries.
- Have a good B.I knowledge using dimensions and facts, data warehouse concepts.
- Ability to understand and translate the business requirements to BI development requirements
- Strong interest in teamwork.
- Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
Nice to have:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory
- Experience with programming languages like Python or C#

SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Visual Studio SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), SQL Server 2008 report builder, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Python programming language, Git
