The Randstad Engineering Sales team is growing! We’re searching for a Sales Executive who’s ready to tackle an exciting new chapter in their career.

This exciting and challenging opportunity focuses on new business development for Randstad Engineering’s service offerings, targeted towards Energy Sector in the Western Canadian marketplace.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Engineering, the Sales Executive is responsible for attaining overall revenue goals, building account targeting strategies, developing high-level business contacts and relationships within prospect customers, achieving margin and profitability goals with new customers, executive management of account implementation activities, coordinating branch-level sales and delivery activities, and taking complete ownership of the overall client relationship in the “land and implementation” phase with new customers.

In this role, you will represent Randstad Engineering as a subject matter expert and be able to communicate all of Randstad's diverse service offerings to your target customer. The Sales Executive goal is to look holistically at the needs of the target client and determine the right type of solutions that Randstad Engineering can offer.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Create corporate visibility within your accounts at the highest level (President, CIO, CFO Senior VPs, etc.) through regular executive calls, executive presentations, and delivery of top-tier value-added programs
  • Develop new threads of revenue and increase overall revenue growth within your group of target accounts
  • Develop and execute business development strategies and account acquisition plans both locally and nationally which address the client’s current recruitment challenges anticipated needs and propose solutions to future staffing challenges
  • Ensure that gross margins targets are met through partnering with internal stakeholders to building and customize optimal delivery models
  • Work with internal stakeholders to conceptualize, design and implement human capital strategies for your clients

Do you have what it takes to be successful as a Sales Executive at Randstad? We are seeking:

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated B2B business development and/or client account expansion success in the Alberta market with exposure to complex and long sales cycle
  • Post-secondary degree in business or a related field
  • Experience partnering with HR and Procurement leaders
  • Extensive Track record as a service-oriented salesperson
  • Metrics-driven and enjoy the pressure of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Passion for producing results
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a natural sales ability
  • You are more than a little competitive (in a good way!)
  • You are organized and manage your time like a pro
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You have a Driver's License
